Join Collibra’s Product Design team:

Collibra seeks a skilled and passionate Senior UX designer to join their UX team and create great customer experiences through well-crafted user interfaces. Reporting to the Manager of User Experience, you will dive deep with teammates in Research, Writing, Design Ops, Product Management, and Engineering.

A Senior User Experience Designer at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Leading design projects and other initiatives to success through design excellence in practice, guidance, and communication to stakeholders
  • Creating the critical interactive elements and detailed behaviors of our product interfaces—based on UX goals—to achieve better outcomes for customers
  • Applying and contributing to enterprise design systems 
  • Composing and growing product design concepts alongside multidisciplinary team members in order to create beneficial, robust, accessible, and high-performing products

You Have:

  • 5 - 10 years of design experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a design field, a related field, or equivalent experience
  • A significant portfolio of delivered projects showing high quality, full-lifecycle, goal-centered interface design work in complex domains for web, desktop, and mobile 
  • The ability to collect, synthesize, and discuss feedback from multiple stakeholders and incorporate it into results-driven designs they agree with
  • Experience in contributing to and applying modern design systems
  • The ability to express a clear design direction and philosophy with strategies and tactics for implementation
  • Fluency in U.S. or British English

You Are:

  • Skilled in experience and interaction design and able to demonstrate your expertise through scenarios, design concepts, and low- and high-fidelity mockups
  • Capable of collaborating with interdependent multidisciplinary teams 
  • Experienced working  within design system and brand guidelines to create experiences that harmonize within our products
  • Highly proficient in modern design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma), prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, Principle), and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira)
  • Capable of designing sophisticated products for global markets
  • Able to mentor, coach, and explain design rationale to a wide range of colleagues

Reporting to the Manager, the Senior UX Designer’s measures of success are:

  • Month 1: Deep dive into onboarding and understanding our products
  • Month 2: Understand major Product Design team priorities and participate in all design team activities
  • Month 3:  Outline a strategy for your contributions to UX excellence
