Position Overview

At Autodesk Construction Solutions (ACS), our mission is to help teams meet the world's rapidly expanding building and infrastructure needs, while making construction more predictable, safe and sustainable. As a Senior UX Designer, you will collaborate with your Product Management and Engineering partners to drive and evolve the direction of our Work Planning tool. You will apply your design and research skills to craft compelling experiences and shape the tools that enable our customers to efficiently and safely build the world around us.

We're looking for someone who is excited to experience our customers' world and to build strong empathy for the work they do. You will be responsible for synthesizing your learnings, creating solutions that solve customer pain points and meet business objectives. You will actively champion human centered design and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional design experience
  • Quality portfolio of recent professional XD project work
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas to their essence
  • Comfortable in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders, can adjust to changing priorities
  • Able to work on a of range of projects, from vague to well-defined, simple to complex, implementation to innovation and drive them from concept to conclusion
  • Skilled in human-centered design methods and practice
  • Experience in design with an understanding of task analysis, experience mapping, low-fidelity prototyping, user testing and more. And you know how to choose the right tool at the right time to drive results
  • Demonstrates experience in research - interviews, ethnography, user testing, etc.
  • Bachelor's or equivalent work experience



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing for cloud-based solutions
  • Experience designing for mobile
  • Experience with global teams across multiple time zones
  • Experience establishing/maintaining design patterns
