At Collibra we make data meaningful for our Data Citizens. We are looking for a UX Architect who knows why and how a human-centered design approach transforms a business. As the UX Architect, you’ll guide strategy and implementation of complex data and information structures and flows within and between interfaces to Collibra products.
Reporting to the Director of User Experience, this role will be a key member of the Product Design team that is creating the future of enterprise data intelligence. You will help us continue on the path to drive cohesion, product vision, execution excellence, and excellent cross-functional relationships further advancing design’s strategic value within the organization.
Being successful in this role requires embracing and driving necessary changes in the current offerings to confidently become the Collibra of the future.
Senior UX Designers at Collibra are Responsible for:
You’ll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:
- Working with UX, Product Management, and Engineering to design and guide experience and information architecture design for enterprise products
- Discovering, documenting, and defining way-finding and transversal models for existing and new products
- Discovering, documenting, defining, and maintaining taxonomies, metadata models, and classification schemas for product content
- Creating and driving adoption of roadmaps for improving and innovating the use of data and information
- Collaborate closely with your UX colleagues to design and test information architectures and flows
You have:
- 5+ years of experience in Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, and/or Computer Science
- Demonstrable expertise with human-centered and outcome-focused IA and UX design approaches, methods, and tools
- Experience building internal and external business relationships
- A Portfolio illustrating your work and aptitude as a UX/IA architect
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent related working experience is required
You are:
- Highly proficient at working with interaction, visual, content design, and technology for complex enterprise products
- Able to bring and apply a technical background with experience solving complex enterprise B2B information-based experiences balancing user and business needs, and technological constraints
- Excellent communicator with complex data and information concepts
Measuring Success:Reporting to Collibra’s Director of UX, the UX Architects measures of success are:
- By the end of your first month, you will learn Collibra product functionality and get to know key product personnel
- By the end of your third month, you will investigate to find opportunities for improving the experience of Collibra information architecture
- By the end of your sixth month, you will envision outcomes for IA improvements and work with product managers to develop detailed plans
