ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Product Designer (Mobile), you’ll be principally responsible for the BlueVine Android and iOS apps. To be successful, you’ll need to be a customer-centric designer that balances business goals with creative execution. You’ll work closely with Product Management and Engineering to plan and create a backlog, push features and design updates, and QA and fix bugs. Although this role will be primarily focused on our mobile apps, you’ll also work on features and products that cross all experiences; desktop, mobile web, and native mobile.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Drive the design vision of the company, working closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing leaders
- Work with product managers to define and prioritize a backlog
- Work in a fast-paced environment and provide deliverables under reasonably tight deadlines
- Present your work effectively, and help guide decision-making
- Create prototypes and tests for user testing
- Create flow charts and user journey diagrams
- User quantitative and qualitative data to create designs that serve the customer
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- 4+ years of product design experience
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with design best practices for iOS and Android
- Extensive experience with Figma, Sketch, Abstract, Overflow, and Zeplin
- Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, and Segment
- Bonus points if you have experience designing fintech products and/or experience designing products for business owners
- Excellent English and ability to work with global teams
