We are searching for a Senior Product Designer to take our Cosmos product to the next level of user engagement.

About Cosmos

Identifying and responding to emerging security threats quickly and effectively is a priority for all businesses, but conflicting priorities, tools that produce too much noise, or insufficient resources can often slow security teams down. Cosmos helps you pinpoint, validate, and respond to emerging threats –before an attacker has the chance to exploit them.

The Cosmos platform curates 75 different data sources and proactively flags potential critical and high-risk issues. Our team of expert penetration testers then validate each issue, provide a detailed analysis of the threat, and report their findings in real-time through chat and the Cosmos portal.

The result – validated findings on real threats, delivered faster than other solutions on the market.

Who You Are and What You’ll Do

As Senior Product Designer, your purpose is to champion our users’ needs as we move towards a user-focused discipline in product development.  You will work closely with product management, product marketing, and security operations to create user flows and interfaces that solve our users’ problems while achieving our business goals and objectives.  You see solving our business and user problems as table stakes.  You don’t easily accept the status quo with how security services are designed, you get excited about defining what the security experience should be.

You will conduct user interviews and usability tests to verify and refine your conceptual designs, and then work with engineering to make your designs a reality.  You are data-driven and know when to apply a qualitative versus a quantitative approach to informing your designs.

What You Need to Succeed

  • You love tackling the most difficult of challenges and know how to get to the best solution.  You have superb soft skills, are collaborative, positive, and passionate in a rapidly changing environment.
  • You have shown the ability to take ownership and accountability.  You don’t shy away from the risk of failure because you understand it’s an opportunity for learning and growth.

Why Bishop Fox

We believe that what we do makes an impact, and our culture reflects it in the best possible way. Every one of us plays a role in our success. We value our time and our well-being, we love what we do, and we look out for one another. Bishop Fox offers competitive salaries, flexible schedules, and a one-of-a-kind environment. For the right candidate, it will feel like a second home.

At Bishop Fox, we offer one-of-a-kind professional opportunities coupled with the ability to grow your skillset and to work with some of the most influential figures in the cybersecurity industry. We work hard, but we keep a relaxed environment and honor a work-life balance, too.

Your Experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, or similar role working with SaaS products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field.
  • Mastery of common creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch or equivalent.
  • Experience using rapid prototyping tools such as Figma or Axure.
  • Knowledge and experience with accessibility guidelines.
  • Experience conducting user interviews and testing with customers.
  • Expertise creating a variety of interaction design documents including user scenarios, task flows, conceptual models, and annotated wireframes.
  • Team player, comfortable working side by side with product managers, developers, and program management personnel.
  • Experience working in an Agile-based environment with distributed teams.
  • Security experience a plus. SaaS start-up experience a plus.

Bishop Fox has always allowed its employees to work remotely, and this new role can be based anywhere in North America.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, or national origin.
