As a Senior Product Designer at Outreach, you will define the future of sales engagement for customers like Dropbox, Adobe, and Zendesk, for the market-leading sales engagement platform. This opportunity is for a true craftsperson that is passionate about defining connected experiences customers love to use in their work every day.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include:

  • Work with a highly adept team of product and engineering leaders to advance core product capabilities and new insights that revolutionize how sales organizations conduct business
  • Become an industry expert in how sales professionals, teams, and organizations engage their customers with Outreach to exponentially accelerate sales workflows
  • Craft industry leading system architectures, scalable interaction models, workflows, and highly polished visuals
  • Partner closely with other designers and researchers to collaborate and iterate on solutions, and develop and expand product design systems
  • Present highly considered design concepts, strategies and rationale with confidence to company leadership
  • Balance technical constraints, customer needs, and business requirements to ship win-win product solutions
  • Partner closely with research to identify qualitative and quantitative data driven insights to support concept work, and to conduct studies and customer interviews to validate proposed solutions
  • Act as a mentor, role model, and leader to develop the design and research teams, and build a vibrant design culture focused on continuous improvement

Basic Requirements

  • Have excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Have a bachelor’s (or equivalent degree) in Design, HCI or equivalent professional experience in design
  • Have 5+ years of combined experience in Product Design, design systems, and brand development
  • Have an exceptional portfolio demonstrating strong visual design sensibilities and experience creating design concepts, customer journeys, and specifying interaction details that solve clearly defined customer problems
  • Are experienced as leading design for a major feature area or vertical and are confident bringing a strong and informed design point of view to the product team
  • Are skilled in presenting and explaining your work, process, decisions, and rationale to cross-functional stakeholders and proactively seek feedback to deliver world class design
  • Skillfully gauge process and concept fidelity for proposed solutions to meet customer objectives. Including: early vision, conceptual work, information architecture, low fidelity wireframes / prototypes, detailed visual design, and design specifications
  • Are enthusiastic working within agile teams where collaboration and idea generation are part of the rhythm
  • Have experience participating in and driving UX research activities
  • Are a systems thinker and are able to utilize, curate, and extend shared patterns and behaviors.
  • Are passionate about the details and are excited to keep pushing your work until it is pixel-perfect and world class
  • Are uncompromisingly service-minded –and anticipate the needs of customers and colleagues with empathy
