Design at Tapcart

As a Mobile Product Designer at Tapcart you will work closely with our product management team to build, maintain and extend the user experience of our core products used by thousands of brands.

Our design team is continuously looking in two directions: backwards and forward. We look backwards at what we have accomplished and strive to iterate and improve. We look forward to predicting our customers needs and always be one step ahead of the market.

How you will make an impact:

Your designs will touch millions of shoppers and thousands of merchants worldwide.
You'll have the exciting opportunity to grow and learn with a world-class team at a growing tech company.
Providing a clear understanding of the product design process, analysis and prototyping.
Conduct usability tests, and user research.
Collaborate with the engineering team, product managers, and other designers.

What skills you will need:

3+ years of professional experience working at a product focused company or an agency
Experience designing mobile specific production ready projects from start to finish
Strong knowledge of UX principles and techniques, common practices, and UI patterns
A robust design portfolio with work samples and projects showcasing UX/UI skills (mobile and web)

Since joining less than a year ago, Zahaan has offered solutions to product requirements, evaluated and tested new databases, libraries and languages, and has taken the lead on large projects while contributing to smaller ones. Two months after joining Tapcart as the first account executive in 2018, Chris sat out a company ski day in Lake Tahoe to present a demo to a Shopify merchant that had called that morning. Since joining Tapcart in August 2019, Val has guided clients through the onboarding and launch of more than 800 apps. Recently, Val worked with a hairpiece company with a large social media following that was looking to expand their business through a mobile app. One month after going live — and thanks to Val’s support — the company’s app reached a 90.8 percent retention rate and generated over $200,000 in sales.
