Senior Product Designer, Platform (Remote)

Product Designers at Squarespace are embedded within multidiscipline teams that are collaborative, and each member is directly responsible for their team's strategy and overall success.
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to work on our Cross Product Success & Member Accounts teams, which lives within the Platform organization. You will develop a holistic strategy aimed at helping customers discover all that Squarespace has to offer and improve the experience for enterprising dreamers on the platform while improving key tricks. These teams will guide users towards new products, provide feedback and help them expand their online presence, grow their businesses and ensure smooth access and navigation throughout the entire ecosystem.
You will report to the Product Design Director of Platform.

You'll Get To...
- Create rational, articulable, elegant solutions to complex problems from discovery through delivery in collaboration with product, engineering, research, and content strategy
- Work with other product teams to help improve customer acquisition and retention for each of our products
- Think holistically about the user journey and product ecosystem
- Establish essential metrics to track growth and promote team understanding around goals and priorities
- Understand the capabilities and technical constraints of the systems with which you'll use
- Facilitate user conversations and research, testing, ensuring usability and product consistency
Who We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience
- Well versed in, and opinionated about visual, user experience design and what makes a great product experience
- Experience building end-to-end user experiences for complex systems
- Understanding of information architecture and service design principles
- Use a systems approach to design
- Love of iterative development
- Excel in an evolving workplace
- Well-versed in tailoring your context to different audiences through storytelling and presentations
A portfolio of relevant design work is required for consideration. It should illustrate your involvement and how you contributed to solving specific problems.
