CouponFollow is building the next generation of savings tools, with ambitious plans for the future. To support this, we are looking for an equally ambitious and motivated designer to join our team and help us build features that users will love. You will work alongside our product and engineering teams to help optimize the user experience of our website and Cently browser extension, and contribute to strategies that support growth, revenue, engagement and retention.

The ideal candidate for this role will be passionate about creating products people want to use every day, with a deep understanding of user experience, and an eye for creating clean, functional designs.

What You Can Expect on the Team

• Work directly with the product, engineering and partnerships team to gather business requirements and translate them into user-centered designs and initiatives
• Conduct user research, rapid prototyping, and usability testing to ensure that our products meet and exceed user expectations
• Develop a deep understanding of the user journey across our product offerings, to understand how they intersect and complement each other
• Use metrics to inform and identify opportunities for further improvements to drive revenue, engagement, retention and virality
• Draft product requirements and specs in JIRA, Notion, and collect feedback from stakeholders
• Help nurture the personality of the brand, reinforced by a style guide - helping developers and other designers adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
• Join regular standups and team meetings to ensure company objectives are being met
• Work in sync with customer success teams to prioritize UX issues and adjust designs accordingly.
• Participate in product strategy and tactical planning conversations
• Have the ability to directly influence the success of projects and lead the direction of product

What You Will Bring

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a design role for a membership-based business, with a portfolio that demonstrates the ability to solve challenging UX problems with delightful solutions
• Experience wire-framing and designing in Sketch or Figma with an ability to communicate ideas visually
• Experience designing systems that scale, with atomic or component-based design
• Experience translating designs to product requirements and working with the development team in an agile environment to successfully implement the designs (familiarity with project management software like JIRA a plus).
• Strong user experience intuitions, including an ability to discern great UX and empathize with users
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable taking the lead with clients, stakeholders, and remote teams
• A history of taking initiative, self-management, and solving problems without explicit direction
• Experience A/B testing new product initiatives, with an iterative approach to product development
• A true team-player attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to achieve the best results
• A portfolio showcasing an ability to turn complex technical and business requirements into elegant design decisions based on data, trends, and industry best practices
