Location: For this role we are open to remote work located anywhere within the United States and Canada.

About the Opportunity:
The Senior Manager, Organizational Development will provide an expert level of support to the company's effort to develop their system-wide capacity for effectiveness and global growth using principles of organization and social sciences. This position will work closely with the leader of Organization Development to identify and address impactful modifications to the company's structure, decision making, processes and capabilities in support of the company's short- and long-range strategic plans.

What you'll get to do:

  • Contracts, leads and provides coaching on large scale change management and organization design initiatives. Applies change methodologies and tailors them to specific projects and initiatives. Draws on research, best practices and experiences and incorporates them into current and future solutions.
  • Supports the organizational design efforts (e.g., information flow, governance models, goals & metrics, process reengineering, organizational restructuring, culture activation) across the organization to ensure the alignment and/or the enablement of business strategy to improved business outcomes with significant ownership of elements of the work product.
  • Develops meaningful relationships with critical stakeholders, understands their diverse needs, expectations, concerns, and capabilities. Uses adaptive techniques and messaging to motivate and influence
  • Works with function leadership and HR business partners to build the case for proposed changes. Gains alignment for recommended actions and leverages internal/external resources to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Applies understanding of business goals, gaps, and opportunities to guide client teams in creating, translating, applying, and aligning structure to strategy to improve business results and organizational culture.
  • Provides analysis to inform and understand the implications of strategic choices on the business and people. Engages with HR business partners and business leaders throughout the organization to validate organizational diagnostics.
  • Designs strategies to encourage, develop, and support the ability of project sponsors, leaders, and people managers in leading through change. Provides objective feedback, challenges assumptions with courageous professionalism, and takes a stand even when doing so is unpopular.
  • Keeps abreast of strategic shifts, emerging organizational changes and macro trends in key metrics to proactively surface recommendations for improvements.
  • Evaluates and measures the impact of OD interventions to ensure desired outcomes are achieved and lessons learned are shared; adjusts as necessary based on feedback.
  • Accountable for the continuous improvement of the change management program and tools. Partners with L&D to ensure training is available to support.
  • Master's degree in Organizational Development, Communications, Education, Business Administration, Human Relations or a related field
  • 6+ years of direct experience in Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior or Organizational Change Management
  • Experience working in highly complex global environments; with rapidly changing priorities, confronting challenges directly and influencing stakeholders
  • Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal/influence skills in dealing with multiple levels of management, develop relationships within the organization, and leverage the formal and informal organizational structure to assist in goal achievement
  • Excellent analytic, problem solving and coaching skills, with the ability to take a thoughtful data driven approach to addressing challenge
  • Ability to think strategically and develop systems, processes and programs that are simple yet effective with the willingness to be hands on
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering complex organizational change initiatives
  • Previous experience working with global co-located client groups
  • Proven facilitation of senior leadership level



Skills and Experience we value:

  • Master's degree in Organizational Development, Communications, Education, Business Administration, Human Relations or a related field
