We’re looking for an experienced Senior Interactive Brand Designer to join the Marketing team and help manage and define our unique digital experiences for the GumGum brand. Reporting to the Creative Director of Marketing, this role will take the lead on the development of gumgum.com, the Contextual Insider, corporate branding assets, non-growth projects and support revenue-driven campaigns. This highly efficient leader will lead and art-direct all design requests from key stakeholders and ensure completion.

The Senior Interactive Brand Designer will also help improve the creative process and drive ROI tied to design efforts working closely with internal stakeholders. This role will manage communications with third-party vendors and internal departments, is proficient in digital design, UI/UX, SEO and has knowledge in advertising and marketing.

Responsibilities

Maintain the visuals for the company brand & corporate assets
Solid background of UI/UX with strong design aesthetics
Project manage gumgum.com, Contextual Insider and introduce enhancements to the creative process
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors
Capable of art directing contract or freelance designers for additional support when needed
React to ongoing design needs of the company across all departments
Problem-solving capabilities to streamline workflow
Prioritize projects and manage workload effectively
Knowledge on interactive marketing tools and an understanding of SEO
Produce kick-ass designs across interactive platforms and print media that align with our brand
Develop inspiration and trend boards while collaborating closely with the creative team
Drive and define graphic concepts from early stage to final design with on-brand, trend inspired and iconic designs
Come up with new ideas and ways for our designs to stand out
Support the team throughout the execution
Build and provide assets for other creatives

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent education and experience
A minimum of 8+ years of proven work experience in a relevant role
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Be a project leader on interactive design projects from start to finish
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Basic knowledge of After Effects or other animation programs
Solid digital design background and ability to work with other teams
Introduce digital tools to improve process and workflow and curious to learn and adapt to existing marketing tools
Competent knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts
Technical design skills and be able to problem-solve effectively
Detail-orientated
An eye for great design and typography
In-house marketing department or ad agency background is a plus
Willing to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven organization
Be able to be flexible and meet deadlines
The ability to see projects through from start to finish
Consistency regardless of project size
Good organizational skills that support the rest of the team
