Primary Responsibilities
In this role, we'll count on you to:
- This role is for a highly creative, driven designer that requires an uncommon blend of design acumen and real-world strategy consulting expertise to guide teams to re-imagine complex problems that result in innovative design solutions
- Work closely with internal and external clients, vendors or partners; listening to them and articulating their situation, goals, and requirements into inspiring creative briefs
- Lead project research and develop design strategies through implementation
- Think creatively and strategically
- Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions acting as the catalyst that mixes ideas, pushes concepts, and finds the best way to meet the client's needs with compelling, innovative creative executions
- Manage complex processes, strategic projects and initiatives
- Helps create ideas on how to inspire the creative team and how to improve processes within the graphics group to make our team more efficient
- May manage other designers and teams within a project or team
- May lead charrettes with outward facing clients
- Manages workflow and processes to create efficiencies and increase productivity. Leads initiatives and systems that support the graphics team
- Perform other duties as needed
- Set overall strategy, vision and direction, and use interactive design capabilities
- Take responsibility for design, communication, organizational development, corporate strategic alignment and training
- Oversee planning, management and delivery of projects from concept through completion
- Plan, produce, research and test interactive presentations and materials using Flash, Interactive PDF, Folio, Adobe Digital Publishing Suite, Prezi and new technologies
- Provide peer feedback and reviews, and assist other designers with programs and on projects
- Work with other Team Leads to develop and implement branding standards and meet quality assurance of Gold Tier and limited Silver Tier interactive projects

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Fine Arts or related field of study or equivalent experience
- 7 or more years professional experience

- Strong knowledge in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Additional skills may include Premiere, After Effects and Audition; ability and experience working on strategic campaigns; basic use of XML and JavaScript
- Strong portfolio showing ability to design in a wide variety of styles; eye for design details, such as typography, alignment, hierarchy, etc
- An understanding of branding/brand development and implementation, communications and research
- Offset printing/digital printing/color correction; ability to coordinate complex projects
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
- Ability to travel
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design or Fine Arts related field of study or equivalent experience
