TheSeniorGraphic Designer is responsible for designing various materials to support the sales and marketing forOrion. In addition, this position collaborates with the marketing team in developing and maintaining company branding standards.

Job Duties Include:

• Create internal and external designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts
• Formulate basic layout design or presentation approach and determines factors such as style and size of type, setting up paragraph styles, photographs, graphics, animation, etc. for projects including print ads, brochures, newsletters, signage and booths for tradeshows, emails, websites, presentations, flash animations and various other media.
• Review, edit, proof and package projects to prepare materials for typesetting or printing
• Manage the projects, working within budget and scheduling requirements
• Mentor co-workers through instruction, coaching, providing real-time on-the-job experiences, modeling effective practices and advising on methods used

Skills Needed:

• Knowledge and understanding of basic HTML
• Ability to apply creative thinking to represent concepts visually in multiple mediums
• Ability to deliver effective presentations
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient skills with Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign

Education/Experience Needed:

• Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design or related field required
• 5 years of experience required in a graphic design or related role required
• Orion Industry Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment
