Role overview
As Sr. Graphic Designer you will be responsible for conceptualizing and delivering strategic, on brand, highly impactful digital and print creative in support of CarGurus brand and marketing content. This role requires critical thinking, a high level of business acumen, B2B marketing design expertise and the ability to work independently. Partnering with the ACD, you will lead prioritization and art direction of B2B design projects across our small team of external designers. This role can be done fully remote but would need to operate on Eastern time.
What you'll do
- Deliver marketing objectives through world-class design by leveraging CarGurus visual identity
- Deliver creative within brand guidelines, efficiently & with minimal supervision
- Translate creative briefs into high-quality design, with the lens of business outcomes
- Fulfill multiple project requests within defined deadlines
- Present creative ideas effectively and be able to manage and implement feedback
- Ensure creative projects are prioritized appropriately and delivered on time and on strategy
What you'll bring
- Expert level in Adobe Creative Suite and proficiency in Figma
- Proven ability to design marketing collateral, direct mail, digital ads, landing pages, and other digital marketing formats
- 5-10 years of related work experience
- Ability to translate business goals into world-class design. It's not just about making something beautiful - we have to consider the target audience, conversion goals, product segmentation and more.
- Bachelor of Fine Arts degree or a minimum of 5 years of related experience and/or training preferred.
- Portfolio of related work required to apply for this position
US Contractor Hourly Salary Range $50 - $70/hour
The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum contractor hourly rate for all contract positions across all US locations. Within this range, individual hourly rate is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
