OUR PRODUCT TEAM
The Product Team at Kinship is at the forefront of digital services and platforms for millennial pet parents. We’re product managers, designers, and researchers driving true innovation in the pet world through the development of platforms that benefit consumers and their pets. We’re an experienced team backed by a global leader and focused on the future of pet care. Our team is a go-getting, dedicated group committed to bringing everyone closer to their pet and making that experience about ease and joy.
HOW YOU’LL HELP EVERYONE PET PARENT LIKE A PRO
- Work hands-on to develop user flows, wireframes and high-fidelity visual designs that delight pet parents across our digital products and services
- Engage closely with product management and stakeholder partners to understand product goals and create informed designs
- Partner with our research and testing team for quick reads on new product ideas and feature refinements to existing products
- Strike the right balance between efficiency and quality in a start-up environment
- Present your work to the product team as well as stakeholders and senior leadership
- Collaborate on design systems that will influence all of our products, not just those being worked on at the moment
- Iterate based on wireframe or prototype feedback from pet parents
- Willingness to dive in on QA when needed and go the extra mile to ensure a great experience for our users whether we’re shipping features or brand new products

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- At least 3+ years of experience in product design at a digital technology, lifestyle, or e-commerce company
- Experience crafting well-thought low and high-fidelity work throughout the development process
- A track record of consistency in designs and an eye for identifying issues across imagery, branding, iconography, etc. at early stages
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with key milestones and the ability to make autonomous decisions to help us reach those goals
- Demonstrable success designing products from end-to-end with strong user feedback and the KPI performance to match
- Strong user experience instincts and willingness to flex that muscle in your work
- Ability to influence key stakeholders and produce design outcomes that get thumbs up from users and stakeholders alike
- Proven success in a fast-paced environment with resilience to evolving priorities or late stage needs and navigating it all with grace and flexibility
- Pet lovers who think about how to improve the lives of their furry friends and their loving parents are very welcome
