About the role

As a senior design manager, you will help establish the product vision while communicating effective plans to execute on that vision. As such, collaboration and partnership will be core to your success. You will work with a cross disciplinary team to define, create, and evolve behavioral design patterns, user mental models, and design language across large scale platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to help the team deliver, document, and evolve innovative end-to-end experiences through thoughtful design, leadership, and collaboration.

Ideal candidates would show an affinity for designing cohesive experiences across multiple complex back-end services, a sensible and thorough pursuit of user delight, and a track record for delivering thoughtful and impactful products and services.

Responsibilities:
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver beautiful end-to-end user experiences• Partner closely with across geolocations to create a clear cohesive vision for team.• Work within and help evolve design processes that promote collaboration, transparency, and agility• Design to high quality standards, follow processes, and deliver on schedule• Present to a variety of stakeholders

Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS• 5+ years' experience of Product design with a minimum of 4 years' experience with online services.• Working knowledge of database technologies and data structures.• 2+ years of experience leading teams and end-to-end product design with multidisciplinary partners• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.• Strong command of all aspects and levels of interaction/UX design from information architecture, to systems and workflows to micro-interactions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS• Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.• Have superlative visual design skills, think conceptually about design, present excellent problem solving skills, and exercise the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.• Understand the array of technical constraints, user goals and business requirements that shape a product.• Demonstrate ability to work confidently with Program Management, Development, Product Planning, Brand, Marketing and Usability.• Proficiency with Figma or Sketch with an understanding of rapid prototyping platforms such as Invision or Principle.• Experience working within and contributing to a structured design system.• Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail.• Additional proficiency and experience in any of the following skills: information visualization, illustration, motion graphics and animation, video, are not a requirement, but a plus!
