About the role

We’re a dynamic team at a fast-growing company looking for an extraordinary, detail-oriented, mid-level designer to join us and help continue to build our brand. You’ll have the opportunity to work across all types of collateral including direct mail, digital marketing, advertising/OOH, social media. You'll leverage a variety of skills (layout, typography, illustration, packaging, motion, and art direction, etc.) and partner with a wide variety of teams (marketing, product, hospitality, culinary, real estate, and people teams, among others). This role has high cross-functional visibility, with a lot of responsibility, and reports to the Creative Director. Above all else, you love partnering with marketing and copywriters in driving the holistic direction of our brand.

The experience you have

  • You’re a design athlete with 5-7 years of experience either in-house, creative agency or both, having produced creative materials that build and support brands across product, digital, and offline channels.
  • You're an expert at translating a brief into relevant campaigns and are known to ask the right questions to gain clarity when needed.
  • You've conceptualized and executed new ideas while managing multiple simultaneous projects and deadlines.
  • You have proven skills in layout, hierarchy and typography, in both print and digital.
  • You come with deep consumer branding experience, including implementing visual id systems, following, and building upon brand guidelines.
  • You've worked with photographers & copywriters on compelling campaign concepts. 
  • You're a strong presenter and are strategic and confident in reporting on creative updates relevant to the business.
  • You're experienced across all media - ranging from work on print, email, social media, packaging, swag, etc. 
  • You have an interest in performance marketing and data and how it informs your creative contribution
  • You have a strong portfolio that showcases a passion for design, versatility, and ability to capture the viewer through clean and beautiful visuals and typography and can explain your process.
  • Tech stack:
    • You have a mastery of Adobe Creative Suite.
    • You live and breathe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
    • You are well versed in Figma.
    • You can jump into PowerPoint and Word for presentation decks and to create template for in-house applications.
  • Bonus points:
    • Motion graphics and/or video production & editing experience.
    • Experience working with direct to consumer (DTC) brands either in-house or at an agency. 
    • You have a passion for food or experience working with food/food related brands.

  • You are motivated, resourceful, self-sufficient, with extreme attention to detail. 
  • You speak up and actively contribute to creative, brainstorming and general marketing meetings.
  • You stay on top of current trends and culture and use that to enhance your work.
  • You are confident in collaborating with multiple stakeholders, working with cross-functional teams to translate their needs and feedback into a clear design deliverables and creative outputs.
  • You can manage your time well, prioritize your workload and work on competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
