Secure Enclave Design Specialist - Senior LevelCompany:The Boeing CompanyJob ID:00000284543Date Posted:2021-11-11-08:00Location:USA - Berkeley, MO, USA - Hazelwood, MO, USA - Kent, WA, USA - North Charleston, SC, USA - Phoenix, AZ, USA - Seal Beach, CAJob Description Qualifications: Boeing Talent Acquisition is currently looking for a Secure Enclave Design Specialist in WA, MO, CA, AZ, or SC, who is independent, adaptable, creative problem solver who can work across teams to evaluate, design, and implement secure solutions for services that cross trust boundaries.Secure Enclave Design Specialist defines, develops, integrates, designs and maintains security technical controls in a variety of IT environments and systems. Defines security product specifications tools and techniques for intrusion detection, intrusion prevention, data loss prevention, Encryption of data, Identity/Access management and authentication methods. Analyzes security designs and recommends design solutions to lower security risk along with being knowledgeable of national and international privacy requirements. Reviews design data elements (threat models, data flow diagrams, requirements, etc.) along with known vulnerabilities associated with IT systems and creates designs and recommendations that lower or eliminate security risk.Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical solutions to enforce security requirements and policy compliance
  • Implement and validate security controls are meeting governance standards
  • Consult with customer organizations and evaluate the security posture of emergent technologies

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Information Security and/or IT Product management experience
  • Awareness of and willingness to learn standardized information security processes.
  • Strong communication skills to support collaboration with customers, computing architects, other IT organizations, and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of network communication concepts, principles and architectures, associated with network planning, design, integration and maintenance.
  • End-to-end knowledge of network transport technologies, systems, environments, services, protocols, performance monitoring and diagnostic analysis.
  • Clearly conveys technical information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
  • Experience performing application and system threat models
  • Comprehensive understanding of security policy compliance (DFARS/CMMC, SOX, etc.) and security frameworks (NIST CSF) and how it relates to technology implementation

Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Multiple firewall vendors experience
  • Some coding/scripting experience (Python, Perl, PowerShell, C#)
  • Technical and/or security certifications
  • Understanding of security best practices, threats, and mitigating techniques
  • Strong analytical, and integration skills
  • Application/server product management experience (lifecycle management)
  • Familiarity with cloud hosted environments, containers, and dev(sec)ops
  • Understanding of operational and security requirements as relates to factory and building automation (ICS, IOT)

Typical Education/Experience: Typically 9 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (eg. bachelor, master, etc) preferred but not required.Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
