Torch Technologies is seeking a Scenario Designer to join an established team responsible for Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Ground Test (GT) scenario design and planning for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). Ideally, a highly qualified candidate will have knowledge of the BMDS and associated adversaries, be able to analyze requirements and constraints for GT scenario designs, possess the desire and capability to utilize existing team developed tools, and quickly learn processes and procedures for GT design.

Job Requirements

BS in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Physics, or similar technical discipline and 15 years of experience in system analysis or characterization of BMDS components (e.g., GMD, THAAD, Aegis, Patriot, CD, UEWR, SBX, TPY-2, LRDR, etc.); weapon system and/or radar analysis experience; excellent presentation and communications skills; commitment to completing tasks within deadlines and be able to effectively work within a team environment; active SECRET clearance.

Desired Capabilities: Scripting language (e.g. Perl, Python, MATLAB, etc.)
