SFDC Designer & Administrator

Major US City (Boston, NY, DC, Atlanta, Indianapolis, Chicago)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Works with business teams to understand their processes and translate their needs into actionable SFDC requirements for configuration/development.
  • Builds a platform roadmap based on business requirements and manages the full lifecycle, including prioritization, planning, and execution while keeping stakeholders updated and engaged on progress.
  • Manage all aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, sharing rules, etc.
  • Accountable for data quality and proficient in DemandTools or similar data quality management tools
  • Design, Develop, Test, Document and Deploy high quality business solutions on the Force.com platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud).
  • Configure new and existing Salesforce features including user management, roles/profiles, permission sets, custom objects, new page layouts, custom fields, formula fields, validations, flows, reports, dashboards, and email templates
  • Automate processes using Salesforce tools such as process builder, approval processes, validation rules, and other available methods
  • Handles and implements integrations and trouble-shoots any issues with partners and applications as they arise.
  • Works with leadership and stakeholders, reviews & recommends software tools, and approaches to improve operational efficiencies and enhance the customer experience using SFDC platform.
  • Serve as a thought partner on strategy by communicating ideas and identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Manage Salesforce integrations, including liaising with external consultants, vendors and internal partners to ensure all interrelated systems and processes are functioning at their desired capacity.
  • Perform regular quality assurance checks, including by analyzing data and by taking the appropriate steps to ensure good practices are followed (validation rules, matching rules, and duplicate rules).
  • Develop and enhance dashboards, visualizations, queries, and reports to serve fundraising and program needs.
  • Assist user and operating areas in implementing and supporting systems including system installation, training, and troubleshooting.
  • Lead all CRM training efforts including system onboarding for new employees and training on new functionality and features. Develop internal training materials and user guides.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be a subject matter expert for the Salesforce implementation, assist in product design and vision, and articulate strategies on enabling technologies.
  • The SFDC Administrator will work with teams across our company to own the support, design, build, and maintain our Salesforce platform to support the Marketing Cloud efforts
  • Architect custom solutions focused on the Salesforce platform including work in Apex,
  • This is a highly visible, collaborative position with high expectations built around key milestones to bring this platform to market and scale up quickly.


REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a SFDC Administrator
  • Must hold at least 3 of the following full Salesforce certifications: Advanced Administrator, App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Consultant
  • Einstein Analytics or Tableau CRM Plus certification preferred
  • Deep understanding of data and data migration methodologies preferred
  • Hands on experience managing large scale projects/implementations required; you should have contributed significantly to a new instance Salesforce implementation at least once, or have participated in a number of large-scale projects in existing Salesforce instances
  • Experience in designing complex workflow rules, custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflow, approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, reports, Visualforce pages, and dashboards
  • Experience working cross-functionally with business and technical teams in a matrixed environment
  • Strong problem solving skills - ability to quickly diagnose problems and recommend solutions for those issues to business users
