Product Designer

In this role on the product design team, you will be involved in every aspect of product creation for learning and help content experiences - from workshopping future propositions to designing beautiful interfaces.
You will work with a team of product managers, content designers, developers, researchers and data scientists to design and deliver experiences that support user and business goals. You will have a growth mindset and contribute to the growth of product design as a practice.Responsibilities
- Develop deep empathy for the people we design experiences for.
- Design continuous listening methods (user research, data science and content intelligence) to understand and define the needs, motivations and behaviors of people we currently serve and those we would like to serve.
- Work on experiments, design sprints or iterative design delivery in collaboration with product managers, content designers, video creators and developers.
- Adapt the design approach in your work to strengthen multidiscipline collaboration and partner team impact.
- Advocate for accessibility, diversity and inclusion from ideation to implementation.
- Ensure designs are consistent with the Microsoft brand, design libraries and Fluent Design System.
- Apply systems thinking to collaborate across organization boundaries to define holistic and cohesive experience outcomes.
Qualifications
- 3 + years' experience as a designer with one or two crafts (visual design, interaction design, motion design, user research, experience design, service design) on multidisciplinary work.
- Experience in all phases of the design process from problem space definition, ideation and research, prototyping to implementation.
- E xperience with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Compelling portfolio of work for mobile and web .
- Experience with social products or learning experiences is helpful.
- Experience with transitions, animation and motion design is a plus.
