About the Team
Workday's Product Designer roles are available in the following office locations:
Atlanta-GA, Boulder-CO, Pleasanton-CA, Seattle-WA, or Victoria-BC
You will be joining one of Workday's most exciting organizations, the Experience Design and Development Group (EDDG). As a cross-functional organization of 500 individuals, EDDG is responsible for elevating Workday's User Experience, and delivering products that more than 45 million users love. Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of UX Design experience
- UX related degree or equivalent work experience
- A portfolio of design work
Other Qualifications
- Passion for UX knowledge and process. Ability to distill complex problems into simple and elegant experiences for a range of users across mobile and web platforms.
- Create detailed design flows, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate your design concepts to a broad range of colleagues, customers, and end users.
- Participate in qualitative and quantitative user research including ethnography, contextual interviews, usability studies, and heuristic reviews. Proactively identify usability concerns within the product.
- Ability to critique the work of other designers and provide meaningful feedback.
- Strong desire to achieve consistency and cohesiveness by reusing design patterns.
- Creatively apply the best user interface design ideas of the consumer web to business applications.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders; i.e. technical developers, business leaders, and customers.
- Interest in collaborating and building relationships with product management and engineering teams.
Nice to have
- Prototyping skills
- Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, and ability to present research data simply and clearly
- Demonstrated observational analysis skills coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills
