  • JOB TYPE: Direct hire position  (no agencies/C2C - see notes below)
  • LOCATION: United States and Canada only - Remote  - (TimeZone: Work anytime)
  • HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $84/hr.
  • ESTIMATED DURATION: 40h/week - Long-term

THE OPPORTUNITY

A product designer typically works on: 

  • Discovering insights, opportunities, and requirements

  • Testing prototypes and hypotheses with users to collect feedback

  • Launching experiments and evaluating how they perform and how to iterate

  • Presenting your work to peers and leadership, async and in-person

  • Taking part in weekly design critiques, workshops, all hands and squad meetings

  • Thinking and writing about your process and documenting your decisions

  • Contributing motivation, optimism, quality, and integrity to the team


Must-Haves:

  • 2-4 years of Product Design experience

  • Design Systems experience

  • Solid Visual/UI design foundation and skills

  • Ability to work independently but seeks mentorship and feedback from manager and senior designers on the team

  • Contributes to strategy and design direction and uses research and data to inform design solutions

  • Able to determine the best formats and fidelities for your work by sketching, prototyping, and building high fidelity artifacts for the team

  • Quick learner in proficiently and consistently using design systems 

  • Advocates good work, balancing pragmatism and quality


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Ecommerce experience

  • Two sided marketplace and e-commerce experience

ABOUT THE HIRING PROCESS:
