The Opportunity
Do you love the sweet satisfaction of designing essential tools that are joyous to use? The Assessments group at Pluralsight is looking for a product designer for our Assessment Lifecycle Management system that supports collaborative authoring and editing of assessments, along with the analytics required to ensure our assessments stay in tip-top shape. Our tools are used every day by internal production teams as well as subject matter experts around the world.

What You'll Own

  • Defining, prioritizing, and delivering outcomes with your team
  • Discovering customer needs and balancing those with business objectives
  • Preparing for and conducting user research along with the product manager
  • Collaborating with the team to determine an appropriate solution based on research
  • Creating concepts, wireframes, designs, and prototypes for testing, experimentation and development
  • Defining the information architecture, the interactions, and the visual design
  • Helping the team reflect and improve on how they work


Experience You'll Need

  • 3-5 years of user experience design and visual design for software or other complex GUI experiences
  • A strong understanding of user research and human-centered design
  • An analytical approach to testing new features
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven ability to speak on a technical level and communicate clearly with developers and engineers
  • Strong interest in the learning, and in improving how consumers consume and interact with content
