WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Trade Desk is building a new advertising ecosystem for the benefit of humankind. We are helping the industry change the way we buy, sell and consume advertising as one of the leaders in the programmatic industry.
Our platform offers relevance and accuracy to advertising that generates a net positive global impact for our clients while remaining close to consumers' interests and the communities they support. For example, our globally adopted UID2 initiative promotes fair (content-for-data) value exchange while giving users complete control of their private data.
As a Principal UX Designer at The Trade Desk, you'll be joining a fast-growing UX/UI team that consists of innovators from Blizzard, Amazon, Google, Samsung, McKinsey Digital, etc. We are on a mission to build robust yet elegant solutions that compete with the world's best user-centered platforms.
Our industry is complicated, but we don't believe our platform should be. And you have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge solutions, consistently retaining industry leadership recognition, including in Gartner Magic Quadrant for the completeness of vision and ability to execute. But our creative drive and commitment to innovate don't settle on accolades or accomplishments to date. Our extraordinary cross-functional UX/UI team relentlessly experiments with platform technologies, advanced computing capabilities, and groundbreaking user interface methods (including natural language processing) to make our users' product experience seamless and natural.
Additionally, one of our signature design investment areas is to explore ways to empower our users with data intelligence. We are fully immersed in data science to develop our intellectual understanding of data and its profound impact on personal, societal, and business outcomes. Hence the unique opportunity to articulate to the users the benefits of actionable insights, powered by our own Koa™ (advanced AI), and shape the vision for human-machine collaboration. Simply put, we believe our users' engagement with data intelligence products should be intuitive, powerful, and beautiful.
Our team thrives on collaborating across teams and digging in to fully understand the context of any problem. We value ideas and feedback from everyone. We're incredibly fortunate to partner with our power-user colleagues who use the platform daily and with our business leaders acting as a critical component for business value creation.
At The Trade Desk, we believe each opportunity to engage with consumers is unique. Because of this, our platform provides advertisers and their agencies an unprecedented level of power to describe and reach their target audience. This means user experience can make or break our business - our users must have all the flexibility to harness our system's growing power and should be able to use our platform with unparalleled ease and precision.
