Our Opportunity:

Providing optimal interfaces and beautiful experiences is the cornerstone of our Product and Engineering teams. This is your opportunity to lead the charge, owning the design of Fetch’s front-end applications that connect our operators, drivers, and customers that make Fetch deliveries possible. 

Fetch is a venture-backed startup solving the problem of package deliveries to multifamily apartment communities. Packages are sent to our local facility, and we communicate directly with residents to coordinate secure and convenient direct-to-door delivery. Fetch is currently operating in cities from coast-to-coast with substantial growth on the horizon. 

We tackle exciting problems on a daily basis: from managing the intricacies of a gig labor force to solving complex logistical issues revolving around receiving, organizing, dispatching, and delivering millions of packages.

What you'll do:

You will lead design for our iOS, Android, and responsive web applications. You will serve a vital role in crafting the experience of new features and ensuring elegant cross-platform interactions between end-users while ensuring that consumer-facing digital experiences remain consistent and on brand. You will iterate and design alongside our product team and engineers daily to develop great user experiences.

We are looking for someone who has a design thinking mindset, challenges assumptions, recognizes opportunities for innovation and values collaboration in creating better products. You will need to develop an intimate understanding of our customers, the intricacies of Fetch’s last mile operations, and tactfully soliciting consistent feedback will be imperative for success in this role. Our Product and Engineering teams work directly with our users, often working in Fetch facilities and delivering packages on the road to put our solutions to the test. You’ll need a willingness to get your hands dirty. 

What you'll need:

• 7+ years of experience in an individual contributor role on a Product or UX design team
• An outstanding portfolio, showcasing a solid foundation in Typography, Interaction and Visual Design, and Ideation
• Strong understanding of and implementing design systems, visual design principles, and user experience design
• Comfortable and skilled with rapid prototyping techniques as a means to explore and convey design solutions
• Experience in developing design flows, prototypes, sketches, and wireframes 
• Working knowledge of mobile and web design patterns and best practices 
• Experience working closely with Product Managers to develop strategy and rationale for features
• Experience building and maintaining design libraries
• Proficiency with Sketch, Figma, InVision, XD or similar
