The role:
We are looking for a Principal UX Designer to strengthen our design team and establish best practices, processes, and design systems. This role requires deep cross-collaboration with product, engineering, marketing, and our clients to build superior client-facing experiences. You will be responsible for solving complex data/configuration challenges that will scale globally across multiple customer segments.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the conceptualization, definition, and design for our client facing experiences
- Drive user research and user testing
- Drive alignment by working collaboratively with engineering, product, marketing, and business stakeholders
- Consistently gather feedback from stakeholders to inform design iterations
- Present design solutions to senior and executive stakeholders
- Create design specs and presentation documents
What you’ll need:
- 5+ years of experience successfully designing and shipping B2B products
- Experience in design thinking methodologies, from research, design, to building tangible outcomes
- Expert understanding of current design tools (Sketch, Figma, Lucidchart, Adobe Creative Suite, Invision)
- Strong time management, planning, and collaboration skills
- Strong understanding of how to use data analytics, user testing and research to inform and validate design decisions and focus on constant improvement
- Strong presentation skills, ability to effectively communicate design solutions to engineering, product, marketing, business, and executive leadership
- Experience working in an Agile development environment using tools like Jira and Confluence
- A portfolio URL or PDF to submit with application with examples of responsive web product design
Nice to have:
- Experience designing dashboards, user portals and self-service client tools
- Experience designing mobile apps offering financial products to consumers
