The Principal Designer is the nexus between consumer centered business strategy and enabling Digital Products at scale. Primary Responsibilities:

• Work at the highest levels of the organization to support Member and Consumer needs for our Digital Strategy. Provide the 'Voice of the User' in critical contexts. This includes support across all channels. This role will be supported by UX and UI Designers across the Product teams, with additional dedicated UX and UI resources as needed
• Create and share ideas on potential new enhancements to meet Business and Member strategic needs for current or upcoming flows. Discovery and Research moments that help inform business strategy. Facilitate design thinking moments for sponsors and product partners
• Understand and partner across Omnichannel teams to ensure communication and experience consistency
• Represent the Member personas and needs during prioritization. Connecting areas of focus and sequencing to consumer impact and outcomes
• When needed, advocate for experience design needs to partner Product teams or 3rd parties
• When needed, bring a bias to the teams for Enterprise solutions that support common experience needs
• Create customer journey maps, stories, personas, wireframes, UI design, service blueprints and presentations as needed

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with contemporary UI/UX design tools
• 3+ years of experience leading User research facilitation and analysis
• Proven ability to support experience designers in their growth and development

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Graphic/Web Design/UI
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Sketch
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Agile Software Development
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Product Model
• Sophisticated presentation skills. You are a storyteller
• Ability to present ideas and concepts to the highest levels of the organization
