JOB SUMMARY
As a leading member, craft in-product, cross-platform messaging for mobile apps, set-top box apps (Roku, etc.), responsive websites, interactive program guides and much more. Contribute to the design of innovative solutions by collaborating with all involved teams and support new and existing features across multiple applications.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Provide innovation for the user experience of a product by crafting content to fit product needs such as product copy, instructional text, UI labels, error messaging, marketing copy, etc.
Ensure consistent cross-product messaging across all digital channels (i.e. web, mobile, TV, wearables, print, voice).
Provide expert guidance on the creation of copy that works as part of a UX/UI design solution that is engaging and effective to help achieve business goals.
Lead collaboration with product managers, designers and developers to understand-and write content that meets-business and technical requirements.
Provide expert guidance on voice/tone/style/brand content guidelines.
Integrate editorial feedback from stakeholders and peers and be great at incorporating feedback received into the work product. In addition, to be able to offer design feedback to UX/UI designer-peers where appropriate.
Champion the customer experience within the organization.
Advisor for content/voice/tone of one or more products.
Develops new processes for documentation.
Mentors other content designers on the team.
Delegates and manages incoming work, provide critique and feedback.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Team-focused, collaborative, and ability to work well with others.
Deep understanding of design thinking and user experience design best practices; in particular, understand the difference between copywriting and content design.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management skills and the ability to direct self and others.
Extensive experience or understanding of basic UX/product design principles.
Experience leading creative projects and people.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Related Work Experience / Number of Years
Writing experience: With at least 50% focus on UX writing / 9-12
Experience with common productivity and design tools (MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.).

Bryant Bonds’ team’s roadmap consists of many exciting initiatives. But one in particular excites him most: defining a common set of standards for Charter’s backend API services across its many platforms. “We hope to consolidate our services in order to make them easily consumable by our web, mobile and TV-OS applications,” Bonds said. "Once developers are up to speed on the new architecture, it will allow us to develop new services in a shorter timeframe and get new product features out to customers faster." It’ll also make it easier for developers to learn and be productive on varying code bases.

Keith Neubert always feels pride for his team, but there’s no greater example than the success of the Spectrum News App. His team started the build a few months before the pandemic started.
