We're looking for an experienced mobile designer who loves AR to join the New Platforms team!
What you’ll do:
Conceive of innovative new features and pitch those concepts to stakeholders
Identify the needs of Snapchatters and improve on existing features
Design beautiful, simple, innovative, and intuitive experiences and flows
Help define the short and long-term roadmap for your product area(s)
Regularly give and receive feedback on designs and strategic product decisions
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent communication and presentation skills. You’ll be expected to clearly communicate design decisions to the rest of the team, leadership, and to engineers
Strong visual design skills and passion for interaction design
Ability to prototype interactive mobile experiences
Ability to think at a high level about product strategy
Capable of acting as a Product Manager when needed
A creative thinker who has lots of ideas and sees solutions when most would not
Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
A passion for Snap Inc. products
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
6+ years experience designing and shipping mobile applications
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical background or a familiarity with software engineering
A portfolio showcasing strong mobile and AR design skills
Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, or other design tools
