Job Description

This role is part of our Product Design team that uses their superpower of empathizing, understanding, and applying our users’ and customers’ needs, with the mission to create product experiences they love. As a manager, you’ll be a coach, content design champion, and system architect. Your team is expected to deliver content frameworks, product flows, terminology recommendations, UI copy and more across a key product area at ServiceNow. You’ll have a hand in shaping those experiences as well as growing the careers of hardworking and passionate content designers. You will also be educating partners on content design’s value and impact throughout the company.

What you get to do in this role:
You’ll directly manage, mentor and develop a small to mid-size team of content designers working on multiple projects across regions and programs.
You’ll develop processes, workflows and content templates that allow the team to scale our impact.
You’ll actively build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams and partners.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications:
7+ years of experience in content design, content strategy, copywriting, or related field; B2B experience preferred
3+ years of experience managing, coaching and developing direct reports
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with solid understanding of English grammar, structure, and punctuation
Strong teamwork, communication, and technical problem-solving skills to contribute within a multi-functional and multi-disciplined team
Knowledge of design principles and methods, and tools (Figma, Sketch, Miro, etc.)
Basic qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or other relevant field, or equivalent work experience
Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applications.
Experience in user experience design or industry experience (corporate, software, web or agency)
