YOUR MISSION

Define and develop training curriculum and content that deliver on customer education and adult learning best practice delivered within a new medium (MURAL). Collaboration Coaches grow our business by empowering MURAL members to effectively run more engaging meetings, planning sessions and projects. As a Learning Experience Designer, you’ll develop and build content to be delivered by coaches, ensuring they are delivering top-quality learning experiences for customers. You’ll also help develop the strategy for moving training and learning into additional mediums.

You’re role will include the following duties:  

  • Develop a content strategy for creating and developing persona-focused training content.
  • Adapting standard content best practices and adult learning principles into a flexible, interactive format.
  • Building out instructional design best practices, templates, and standards.
  • Work with the Director, Collaboration Coaching to develop a content strategy that will allow for catalog iteration and adapting into additional mediums. 
  • Work cross functionally with product managers and CS teams to understand coordinated onboarding initiatives and align coaching strategy with product and business goals. 
  • Build feedback and QA processes to ensure materials are always up-to-date and function optimally for coaches.

YOUR PROFILE

The top candidate will have experience as an instructional designer, but be excited about fitting established design principles into a fresh medium. You should have experience developing an ID program and be comfortable working at both the content and strategy level. We are focused on creating a world-class customer experience and looking for candidates who share our customer-centric mindset. 

Our desired candidate will have:

  • 4+ years experience in Instructional Design, Learning Design, or Design Thinking with increasing scope.
  • Experience developing content for SaaS or technical training roles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An understanding of Adult Learning Principles and experience in requirements gathering, developing learning objectives and content creation.
  • A passion for creating unique and engaging learning experiences.
  • A self-starting, independent approach to managing your own work.
  • Experience developing learning strategy and curriculum development
  • An innovative approach to problem solving, bringing new ideas and perspectives to challenges.

Ideally you have...

  • You have experience in design thinking and creative disciplines 
  • You have worked closely with Design, UX, Research and Product Management roles in the past 
  • An understanding of planning and design methodologies (i.e. Agile, Waterfall)
