The Learning Experience Design Manager, Partner Enablement is responsible for designing
and managing a wide range of partner learning and development programs for our
Partner ecosystem. The ideal candidate will leverage design thinking and Human-
Centered Design approaches to diagnose, discover, define, develop, and deliver
solutions that effectively address Partner learning needs & performance gaps.
These programs will focus on the enablement of our Reseller, Services, and
Technology Partners - from onboarding to continuous development. This role will
help support the goals of the sales learning programs, by leveraging instructional
methodologies: synchronous virtual learning, asynchronous eLearning, and blended
learning. Success in this position requires the ability to think strategically and
perform in a fast-moving, ever-evolving sales business environment. In addition,
this role will also work, in a matrixed fashion, with the Learning & Development
team to develop and align with overall curriculum strategies and deployment plans
for our sales team. The Learning Manager must be passionate about education and
understand how adults learn.

Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions): • Design and develop programs to support sales and product-based capability
building, in alignment with key business initiatives.• Lead diagnosis/needs assessment activities to uncover root causes behind
performance deficits• Partner with appropriate teams and subject matter experts to
understand learning outcomes and identify effective methods to achieve
those learning outcomes.• Leveraging adult learning theory, design and develop effective and
instructionally sound learning experiences and products using a range of
learning methods (e.g. ILT, asynchronous, blended learning, etc.) and media
(e.g. video, hands-on practice, workbooks, written, interactive).• Collaborate on agile work teams where design thinking is used to develop
learning strategies built through diagnosis and discovery to development and
delivery.• Design and implement people-centric change management solutions that
drive positive business outcomes• Constantly improve the design of learning experiences and products based
on the latest research in learning and adult education. Continuously

upgrade/refresh learning materials based on iterative delivery and
retrospective and maintain source control for learning materials.• Leverage existing learning evaluation standards to measure program impact.• Perform other emergent tasks that support the learning function at Tableau.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements: • Able to design learning around a broad range of sales and technical
subject matters.• Strong teaching and virtual facilitation skills. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated
ability to interact frequently with a wide range of stakeholders.• Strong ability to manage expectations and customer demands;
demonstrated ability to work iteratively, inviting and managing continuous
improvement in an agile development environment. • Adept at learning new technologies and concepts quickly as well as
developing learning experiences that effectively build skills.• An exceptional collaborator who works well with people who have a diverse
set of expertise and skills to deliver outstanding learning experiences in a
rapidly dynamic environment. • Ability to easily transition from high-level strategic thinking to creative
and detailed execution.

Education/Experience:• BS or MS in Organizational Development, Learning Design, Education,
Engineering, HCD, UX or related discipline; or equivalent experience. • 7+ years of adult learning and/or leadership development experience
in a corporate environment, conducting needs analysis and familiarity
with design thinking and agile learning development techniques.
• Results Driven Experience managing program ROI, metrics
evaluation, and reporting on program deliverables.

teammates.
