Learning & Development Design Specialist

Currently recruiting Learning & Development Design Specialist, this is a remote role.

As a Learning & Development Design Specialist you will be passionate about designing meaningful experiences that challenge learners to get hands-on with the learning process. Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to collaboratively launch company-wide initiatives
• Engagement with internal stakeholders to scope learning opportunities that will push the business forward
• Application your knowledge of learning design to instructor-led, eLearning, and learner-led modalities
• Design and develop cutting edge learning experiences that meet the needs of now and are scalable to accommodate different geographies, environments, and audiences
• Quick collaboration, iteration, and execution of revenue  and non-revenue driving initiatives
• The meticulous end-to-end management of multiple projects at one time
  Stepping outside of the traditional learning design box and take risks in order to further engage your audience
• Run train the trainer sessions, and observe the delivery of training to provide feedback to improve performance. 
• Facilitate virtual and in-person learning experiences
• Manage training program feedback loop with Field Leadership and key stakeholders; monitor and evaluate trends
• Participate in ride-alongs to validate training effectiveness
• Additional responsibilities as delegated by the UK L&D Manager

Understand the importance and impact of learning on performance. You obsess about performance using business insights and stakeholder partnerships to measure the outcomes of your work. You’re a natural facilitator. 

Experience and Qualifications 

• Extensive and demonstrable experience in learning experience design 
• Proficiency in instructor-led and eLearning design; familiarity with Articulate 360 is a plus
• Expertise working in a fast-paced startup environment where you display your passion for solving problems while being resourceful 
• A proven track record of strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, which push cross-functional teams toward shared goals
• Deep understanding of adult learning theories and instructional methodologies
• Proficiency in multimedia, UX, and graphic design 
• Fluent in design thinking, rapid prototyping, and agile methodologies
• Experience with engagement strategies, such as: gamification, AR, fostering online communities, and keeping learners accountable in remote and blended learning programs.
