Job Description About the Team

The Cybersecurity Education & Awareness team is focused on spreading education and awareness across all 290,000+ employees around the world. Through firm-wide and targeted training, communications, and awareness events, we \"humanize\" cybersecurity and enable our employees to better protect themselves and our data.
About the Role
As an Instructional/Digital Content Designer on the Cybersecurity Education & Awareness team, you will help develop and carryout the learning content strategy for educating JPMC employees on cybersecurity-related topics.
To this end, the Instructional/Digital Content Designer will help the team mange, build, and market its library of digital learning materials.

  • This includes regularly reviewing existing materials for accuracy and relevancy and updating materials when appropriate.
  • Suggesting new learning opportunities based on identified employee knowledge gaps
  • Produce a wide-variety of original digital content based on Adult Learning principals.
  • Help develop a marketing strategy for delivering our education materials to employees throughout the bank.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ability to partner with team members to manage and update the inventory of learning resources (classroom materials, web pages, job aids, tutorials, etc.)
  • Work with Cybersecurity subject matter experts across the bank to identify employee knowledge gaps and offer solutions.
  • Design and create new digital learning materials for multimedia and graphics projects across a wide-variety of online media, such as knowledge articles, infographics, online tutorials, webpages, etc.
  • Review content produced by partners for information accuracy, appropriate use of adult learning principles, and validating that digital materials work properly (debugging).


Desired Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Graphic/Digital Design, User Experience, or similar discipline preferred.
  • 3+ years designing education materials for an online audience.
  • Candidate shows a strong interest in the field of cybersecurity, has a deep desire to further their knowledge and share that knowledge with others
  • Ability to communicate complex topics to a general employee audience in ways that are easy to understand and actionable.
  • Candidate has strong project management and organization skills and understands the importance of collaboration with colleagues and subject matter experts to bring a project to completion.
  • Ability to think critically, enjoys problem solving, and has an attention to detail.
  • Has strong writing and copywriting skills.
  • Proficiency or willingness to learn audio and video production.
  • Has experience or familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite; such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc...
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Figma a plus.

About the Team The Cybersecurity & Technology Controls group at JPMorgan Chase aligns the firm's cybersecurity, access management, controls and resiliency teams. The group proactively and strategically partners with all lines of business and functions to enable them to design, adopt and integrate appropriate controls; deliver processes and solutions efficiently and consistently; and drive automation of controls. The group's number one priority is to enable the business by keeping the firm safe, stable and resilient.
High Risk Roles (HRR) are sensitive roles within the technology organization that require high assurance of the integrity of staff by virtue of 1) sensitive cybersecurity and technology functions they perform within systems or 2) information they receive regarding sensitive cybersecurity or technology matters. Users in these roles are subject to enhanced pre-hire screening which includes both criminal and credit background checks (as allowed by law). The enhanced screening will need to be successfully completed prior to commencing employment or assignment.
