The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and talented digital marketing designer/ HTML5 developer for a newly created role to advance capabilities of Ally's in-house agency. You will work hand-in-hand with the marketing team to create interactive rich media ads thru design, coding, implementation, and testing of digital projects. In this role, you will collaborate with the UX Design team and Marketing team to bridge the gap between design and technical implementation, playing an active part on both sides. To be successful, you should have an eye for detail and thorough knowledge of front-end technologies. The Work Itself

• Create storyboards and/or concept art and execute highly polished interactive experiences, including but not limited to motion design, HTML5 animation, Dynamic HTML5 and interactive rich media
• Communicate information in a concise and professional manner whether in a verbal, written or visual context
• Produce and program projects from initial ideas through to delivery of assets
• Deliver high quality production, animation and design at all times
• Collaborate with designers to discuss project design and layout
• Code the entire HTML5 assets from end to end
• Debug code and front-end web applications
• Ensuring cross-platform compatibility
• Troubleshooting application errors
• Consistently deliver within project deadlines

The Skills You Bring

• Detailed knowledge of the digital marketing and advertising landscape
• Creative mind with ability to conceive, communicate & deliver advanced digital ads
• Cross-platform experience is a must with understanding of Web2 and Web3 digital design and implementation to elevate marketing & advertising assets
• 1+ years of HTML5, CSS, jQuery/Bootstrap, and JSON are essential
• Expert understanding of HTML5, CSS, and advanced animations
• Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design tools, especially Creative Suite
• Mobile and responsive banner/ad development and cross browser support experience is a must
• Knowledge of ASP.NET, Silverlight, SQL, high-level scripting languages, version-control, or CMS systems a plus
• Familiarity with digital creative technology packages, including but not exclusively: Flashtalking, Jivox, Doubleclick Studio, Sizmek, Adobe Innovid, Facebook, etc.
• Experience programming with 3D and other frameworks a plus
• Prior digital advertising agency experience highly preferred
