Job Description:
Graphic Designers on the Skills Content Production Services Team are stewards of the Pluralsight brand by way of Pluralsight content. They express it through many different mediums in an effort to support our external and internal authors as they create content for our learners. In addition, they work collaboratively across teams within the company to provide branded design resources. Reports to the Content Art Director.
Who you are:

  • You have strong creative design, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • You have the ability to work in multiple design fields, including graphic design, illustration and motion graphics.
  • You manage your workload effectively by prioritizing multiple projects and exceeding creative and quality standards.
  • You actively seek to give and receive honest, collaborative feedback.
  • You demonstrate sensitivity and respect for the opinions, perspectives, and individual differences of others.
  • You work well individually and as part of a team.
  • You have a deep knowledge of design fundamentals, and production principles/processes.
  • You have experience with print design, specifically for event collateral.
  • You have moderate to advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative products, including Photoshop, and Illustrator. Experience with Figma and/or using design systems is a plus.
  • You have advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Keynote.
  • You have experience in instructional design.
  • You are a lifelong learner with a deep passion for design.
  • You have experience in UX/UI design.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and/or Javascript, or designing for Wordpress is a plus.


What you'll own:

  • Design and maintain templates used by authors creating video content for the platform.
  • Design and maintain a library of proprietary brand icons and assets used by authors.
  • Help develop and document design and production processes/standards that are repeatable and scalable.
  • Communicate and collaborate with author-facing teams to develop and assist in enhancing the author experience.
  • Communicate and collaborate with the product and marketing design organizations as it relates to content design.
  • Communicate and collaborate with third-party team members to design compelling visual solutions to increase learner engagement.


Experience:

  • You have 6+ years of graphic design or related experience.
  • You have a BA or BFA in Design, Communication, Digital Media or a related field (or equivalent experience.)
