Performs highly technical and skilled functions demanding specific training and aptitudes. This position is responsible for developing original creative design concepts and approaches, as well as managing and contributing multiple projects from concept through execution. Manage project timelines associated with internal and external communication projects. Requires strong attention to detail, pro-activity, and initiative, decision-making skills and specific knowledge and experience with regards to the conception and creation of creative content. Works with print and digital design and production for internal/external communications, special events, marketing and bulk mailings. The ability to work with wide range of both internal and external customers, vendors, and on a creative team. The ability to and meet deadlines is critical. Reports to the Creative Director/Project Manager.

Compensation range: $38,600-$45,000

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • *Responsible for the production of various agency and event marketing materials, and creative projects from concept to completion, including proofing and printing of brochures, fliers, newsletters, invitation packages, business cards, stationary, marketing materials, signage, posters, - print, online and digital design, etc.
  • *Assists as Community Relations liaison to program directors and staff by providing expertise and suggestions that boost the awareness of their programs through brand representation and design.
  • *Promote the agency and preserves the established brand guidelines.
  • *Assist with research and organization of various projects, including special events, audio-visual presentations, and gathering agency materials for staff community events and referral agencies.
  • *Maintains ordering and inventory for: paper, envelope, design supplies, and printed marketing material.
  • Email marketing (Constant Contact), website content management (WordPress), audio visual presentations (PowerPoint, video editing (Premiere), social media graphics, and photography - Ability to learn and/or experience preferred.
  • *Maintains audio-visual equipment reservations and assist staff with equipment needs. Requires some lifting (up to about 40 pounds) and moving of display containers (up to about 75 pounds).
  • *Manage workload to meet deadlines.
  • *Maintain confidentiality of agency clients and contracts.
  • Displays a courteous and caring attitude at all times to the clientele, volunteers, and visitors of the Agency.
  • Cooperates and collaborates with program area staff, volunteers, and other agency staff.
  • Maintains regular, prompt attendance at the office on a consistent and reliable basis.
  • Abides by all specific program and agency procedures, policies, and requirements.
  • Develops personal and program related skills through participation in internal and external training opportunities including printed material and audio and/or visual media.
  • *Creates, maintains and shares as appropriate a dynamic self-care plan.
  • *Strives to make connections between the agency and the larger community whenever possible in order to contribute to the agency's ongoing fundraising and friend-raising efforts.
  • *Essential functions of this job is to be performed on company physical work site.
  • Performs other program related duties as assigned.

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design
  • At least three years' experience creating and editing utilizing various design tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and the entire Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to complete complex deliverable according to established timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extreme attention to details
  • Valid driver's license/ acceptable driving record
