What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts using creative thinking
  • Support the visual representation of our brand in digital sales and marketing materials such as proposals, presentations, sales brochures, landing pages as well as design elements for video and animation.
  • Oversee collaboration, coordination and management of design material
  • Ensure consistent quality while staying within brand guidelines
  • Work creatively with designers, analysts, engineers, executives and with cross-functional teams across the globe in multiple time zones
  • Design on multiple software platforms and deliver final product via PowerPoint or printed materials
  • Use observations to create strategic and visually impactful presentations
  • Design and develop interactive infographics and animated presentations

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Communications, Communication Information Sciences or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 1 year of professional experience in a digital design or graphics design role
  • Proven graphic design experience
  • Current and up-to-date experience in industry-leading software and technologies (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Solid Microsoft Office experience (PowerPoint and Excel) and PC skills

It'd be great if you also have:

  • 3 years of experience supporting Business Communications, Marketing, an/or Business Development activities
  • Experience using Adobe After Effects for type-setting in videos and animations
  • HTML experience using Dreamweaver or Pardot Lightning to create landing pages and marketing emails
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and get along with diverse personalities
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
