We are Cornell Pump Company; a wholly owned subsidiary of Roper Technologies and we are looking for ahardworking Graphic Design/Web Developerto join our team!

This vital position is responsible for designing and maintaining Cornell's distinctive company image and brand! This includes creating print collateral, web content, and mobile application development. The perfect candidate will need the ability to work across multiple platforms to create visual materials that compellingly communicate Cornell's unique sale propositions to distributors, end users and potential customers.

This job includes...

  • Processing and managing print book updates and layouts
  • Designing new data sheets for new and existing products


  • Managing and updating the company website
  • Working closely with the Marketing Manager to translate content into graphics for print collateral, videos, animations, web, training and other product marketing materials
  • Designing and presenting graphics, illustrations, and designs from concept to completion, providing creative and innovative solutions to marketing projects
  • Working within existing brand guidelines and maintaining brand image
  • Mastery in fundamental visual, typographic, print and electronic design disciplines and principles
  • Working closely with the Engineering and Sales departments to ensure technical accuracy, quality, message, and vision of our products
  • Coordinating with vendors to ensure successful execution of graphic production for tradeshows, and other multimedia projects
  • Understanding of web application development processes, from layout/user interface to relational database structure
  • Ability to perform some content creation and provide copy editing input on projects
  • Demonstrating proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite of Products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately
  • Ability to distill complex concepts and then turn around mockups quickly
  • Ability to approach design problems conceptually, with close attention to detail innovation
  • Ability to work in a team as well as individually
  • Ability to work on multiple projects under demanding deadlines
  • Flexibility to shift priorities quickly within a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
