Reporting to the studio's Senior Game Design Manager, the Game Design Manager, plays an important role in delivering top performing games. Our high performing design team needs to be deployed effectively to support our various product roadmaps.
What you'll do

  • Plans and manages the work of game designers to ensure successful delivery of games to the marketplace by:
    • Making key design and management decisions for the team in collaboration with Senior Game Design Manager
    • Managing resource allocation and utilization
    • Guaranteeing quality of deliverables
    • Developing and managing direct reports
  • Creates and maintains individual development plans for direct reports
  • Monitors progress of design deliverables and confers with project management to ensure development is on schedule and within budget
  • Recommends methods, processes and structures for improvement within the game design and math team
  • Builds, develops and manages the team to accomplish game design goals efficiently
  • Works closely with Senior Game Design Manager and other senior personnel to create games roadmap and new concepts
  • Supports the overall vision of the design team in collaboration with the Senior Game Design Manager and other discipline managers
  • All other duties as assigned


What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • 6+ years in the Casino / Gaming industry
  • Game Design Management experience strongly preferred
  • Key Competencies:
    • Strong leadership characteristics and ability to be a team player
    • Strong understanding of mathematical concepts in gaming
    • Key Contributor in the design and development of successful game products
    • Able to collaborate with creative and technical disciplines
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Problem analysis and resolution capabilities
    • Able to organize and manage multiple priorities
