WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for an outstanding Footwear Designer II to combine their high-end taste level, design experience, creative problem solving abilities, and outstanding relationship management skills to help build the future of Jordan Footwear Special Projects. The ideal candidate needs to be a highly creative problem solver, with an eye for luxury, who doesn't settle for anything less than the best design solutions, to meet the needs of the consumer. This person will be focused on elevating the consumer experience through outstanding product craft, and will push the limits of Design.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In Jordan Special Projects, you will have the opportunity to work with the greatest shoes in the sneaker industry while collaborating with incredible entertainers such as Travis Scott and J Balvin, brands such as Off White, Union, and Undefeated, as well as other incredible artists and creatives! You will push the possibilities of sports and culture through footwear. We expect you to explore new opportunities, take risks, and change the game! In your day to day, you will be involved in coveted collaborations with influential recording artist as well as high fashion brands.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
As a designer II, you will be working hand in hand with a project team of different experts (engineers, researchers, scientists, marketing, sustainability, materials, costing, etc), and collaborate within the design community. You will work under the direction of our Senior Design Director of Jordan Special Projects.

WHAT YOU BRING
Design Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education, experience, and training

- 5-7 yrs experience designing and developing innovative footwear and other products

- Passion for Fashion and Culture

- Strong luxury aesthetic

- Previous footwear design experience preferred.

- Strong Photoshop, Illustrator skills

- Strong sketching, illustration, and rendering skills

- Cobbling and prototyping skills are a plus

TEAM REQUIREMENTS:
- Positive attitude with the ability to navigate Nike corporate partners

- Ability to confidently work with high profile collaborators that include recording artist, athletes, & influencers

- Lead + drive partnerships beyond the Design function (Marketing, Engineering, Development, etc)

- Team player, motivated and passionate about bringing others along

- High emotional intelligence with the ability to successfully handle different types of relationships
