As a member of the digital marketing team, the Email Designer position spearheads the creation of dynamic, creative, and visually exceptional emails. Email designers create and develop campaigns driven by our Marketing, Communications, and Creative Services teams to drive brand engagement and achieve desired product/promotion goals across our digital touchpoints. Email designers work hand-in-hand in a highly collaborative effort to advance the digital brand, working closely with User Experience and Interface designers to provide cutting-edge, visually trendy, user-centered campaigns.

The role suits designers who excel in visual design principles and are driven towards integrating and advancing the look-and-feel of digital brands.

The position will report to the Manager, UI/UX and will work with a diverse group of individuals including: marketing stakeholders, graphic designers, and web developers.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for designing/building/deploying ad hoc and automated email campaigns for Plexus.
• Set up, maintain and troubleshoot triggered campaigns, templates and key program assets. Code emails using techniques such as dynamic content, mobile queries, and web tracking.
• Manage email production process, changes and trafficking requests. Coordinate scheduling with production assets and provide real-time direction to partners and team members.
• Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders across all stages of campaign development from planning to deployment.
• Manage a brisk, demanding workload while maintaining high standards for established brands. Communicate issues impacting production-cycle dependencies and deadlines.
• Attend meetings to plan and prioritize requests and adjust course as required.
• Act as the subject matter expert on automated email campaign operations - distribute, communicate and apply best practices and learnings to continually improve results.
