Position Summary and Opportunity 

We are looking for a Director of User Experience designer to join our amazing product team. The role requires someone who has already established themselves with the skills and confidence to design for complex enterprise products while collaborating closely with multiple groups.

User experience designers at Duetto seek to deeply understand what makes revenue managers at top hotels across the world successful. Our desire to connect with customers and help them meet their goals is at the heart of everything we do.

Responsibilities 

  • Set the vision for UX across all our products and contribute to long term design planning
  • Establish best practices for UX design and lead the UX design team
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to help identify requirements and agree upon the best UX solutions to support our products’ features
  • Develop and deploy the customer experience strategy, including the characterization of customer segments and systematic collection and application of customer experience insights for strategic advantage and growth
  • Manage & develop a user experience team including UX, product

Requirements 

  • Mastery of Figma, Sketch, Adobe, Invision, and other standard design prototyping applications 
  • 5+ years of proven ability to lead a team of UX designers
  • Demonstrated ability to develop talent
  • Expertise in building out a UX strategy with strong cross-functional support and involvement
  • Proven ability to manage the end-to-end design process, including user research, interaction design, interface, and information design, and visual design
  • Demonstrated ability to keep the user at the center of the product development process under the most challenging of circumstances
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent cross-disciplinary collaboration
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and working with JavaScript libraries such as React
  • Degree in Human-Computer Interaction or Industrial Design is a bonus
