Job Overview:

The Director of Innovation Design Operations is responsible for working across the Innovation Design team to equip our team with the processes, tools, and information needed to win big deals and connect our customers with Olive and Partner solutions. This role will lead the operations, onboarding, enablement, and resource management of the full Innovation Design team as well as collaborate across Olive, in particular with Sales, Product and Partner organizations to increase team effectiveness. This role will report to the Vice President (VP) of Innovation Design - Strategy and Operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Innovation Design leaders to build a highly effective organization through increasing effectiveness of processes, equipping team members with critical organizational knowledge, and identifying and implementing training.
  • Bring insights and analytics to respond to external marketplace trends across the broader healthcare technology landscape.
  • Collaborate with Product and Partner teams to communicate customer needs and feedback and to advocate for our customers along their automation journey
  • Manage Product Specification process with Legal, Sales, Innovation Design and Product to ensure there is clear project intent for each Olive customer
  • Work with VP of Innovation Design - Strategy and Operations and with other members of Olive's Partnerships and Product teams to ensure there is a streamlined market feedback loop to help further drive innovative solution ideas
  • Build and standardize product innovation techniques across the entire Innovation Design team
  • Be an agent for change and move teams to action; develop plan and implement strategic recommendations and initiatives to drive results across the the Innovation Design Team and at Olive
  • Ensure there are clear analytics and insights to design and disseminate reports to improve data visibility across the entire Innovation Design team
  • Develop, monitor, and report progress on key team performance metrics related to hiring, training/onboarding, staffing, goal achievement, and productivity
  • Will oversee and execute on any special projects defined by leadership


Requirements

  • 10+ years in driving operational effectiveness and team enablement in a healthcare product or solution services environment, significant experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • BA/BS degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience. Graduate degree is a plus.
  • Ability to drive large, cross-functional projects to rapid completion.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete and communicate analysis, including trends and opportunities, to leadership and stakeholders
  • Experience evaluating, bench-marking and improving business processes
  • Articulate, assertive, and persuasive with the ability to adapt communication style and approach to a variety of audiences
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including balancing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Prior experience leading, managing and collaborating with cross-functional teams, business partners and stakeholders
  • Strong empathy for customers and passion for revenue and growth
  • Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement
  • Ability to work collaboratively and be resourceful when confronted with ambiguity
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and lead others in the same
  • Some travel is required
