Job Description
At Epsilon, we help marketers create human connections that count, everywhere, through digital media that combines award-winning design with impressive real-time data. Our Digital Media Creative team is responsible for visualizing that data, and we're looking for an outstanding Director, Creative Strategy to join our global team made up of near 100 strategists, designers, copywriters, digital producers, creative technologists and operations. You'll be a driving force in Epsilon Creative, leading and influencing the long-term strategic direction of the creative strategy team and influencing how we transform data into innovative, big ideas that help individuals connect with brands across the digital landscape.
Core Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Your strategic and creative leadership will enable unique and unexpected insights that fuel big ideas and innovation for client campaigns, creative capabilities, business opportunities and more.
  • You will serve as the strategic leader and expert on both assigned and proactively identified opportunities within the organization.
  • You will lead, coach and develop a global team of Creative Strategists, including inspiring the team to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance.
  • You will lead educational sessions, brainstorms, workshops, etc for the broader Creative Team to level-up strategic thinking and influence the day-to-day work.
  • You will build and cultivate strategic partnerships and collaboration across the organization to incorporate perspectives, drive growth and change and ensure sound strategic recommendations.
  • You will produce outcomes that create demand for strategy's contribution to both internal and external work by setting team vision, then measuring and demonstrating its impact.
  • Your existing knowledge, our robust data insights, and your continual quest to learn more will be critical to generating creative solutions across media types and platforms to solve business challenges for brands and the business, including utilizing creative insight tools, driving brand, competitive and industry research to inform briefs.
  • You will be supported along the way by a stellar peer group and on-going focus on training to help you grow as part of the team.
  • You have the ability to effectively work and collaborate globally, across time zones, date lines and traditional routines.

Background:

  • Four year college degree or equivalent
  • 10+ years experience in Strategy, Account Management, or Brand/Marketing Planning (Agency side and/or client-side)
  • 5+ years client-facing experience (Agency side and/or client-side)
  • 5+ years people management leading creative teams (Agency-side and/or client-side)
  • Experience with multicultural strategy or media that demonstrate an inclusive perspective
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop people, provide meaningful feedback and manage performance
  • Demonstrated effectiveness developing relationships and influencing senior leadership and key stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience synthesizing data and information into actionable insights that bring big ideas to life
  • Demonstrated passion for and experience in the digital landscape
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Power Point, Excel; Adobe Creative Cloud, a plus
