RingCentral is looking for a Director of Creative Operations. This role is the glue that holds our creative teams and projects together. They are responsible for leading all aspects of creative project management, from reviewing initial stakeholder requests, ensuring alignment with our corporate strategic goals, allocating resources, and then overseeing projects from kickoff through all reviews and approvals and on to a successful launch -- all while staying on schedule and on budget. They’re the proactive force who unites our cross-functional teams in order to build aligned plans, and this is a vital role in the department.
The ideal candidate is creative minded, highly organized, strategic, motivated by productivity, and oriented toward accuracy. They can balance between big-picture thinking and attention to details, while maintaining creativity. They will have strong people skills and the ability to lead through influence.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, organize, and allocate necessary resources across the department to oversee and approve all schedules related to creative activities including advertising campaigns, video production, digital assets, and more.
- Serve as the expert for the entire creative pipeline including planning and prioritization from intake to delivery of final assets.
- Exercise industry best practices to define and optimize workflows, tools and templates to increase efficiencies and lead to the highest quality work.
- Lead, coach and motivate the Creative Operations team, composed of 5+ project managers, to a high level of performance and accountability in a high volume, fast-paced environment
- Build strong relationships across all areas of marketing and the organization to ensure successful alignment of roadmaps and collaboration on deliverables.
- Develop and maintain positive, collaborative and productive relationships with internal and external core functional partners, senior leaders and executive stakeholders to ensure clear pipeline forecasting, seamless execution, and delivery at scale.
- Expertly navigate, mitigate, and resolve conflict and risk management with proven ability to judiciously escalate concerns and make informed recommendations to senior and executive leadership as needed.
What You'll Need:
- 8+ years of creative project management and creative production experience at an agency or in-house team
- Experience collaborating with larger marketing teams, business operations, international teams, product teams, sales teams, etc.
- Experience establishing operations from the ground up
- Hands-on leadership with the ability to scale and grow a team
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs from concept to completion with multiple clients across different platforms and media formats
- Strong project management experience and the ability to juggle multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic thought partner and strong team player
- Experience with SaaS business models preferred
- Experience using Wrike, Figma and Adobe preferred
- Executive presence, ability to earn and build trust with business leadership in running an effective and efficient Operations team; ability to influence senior leadership
