About the Role
As a senior Product and Content Design leader, you will help define the GoodRx experience’s future. You will be directly responsible for your team’s delivery of high-quality, thoughtful product solutions crafting the voice and tone for our products. You will work alongside product designers, product managers, engineers, and more. You possess a strong foundation in information architecture, conversation design, and storytelling, which allows you to mentor and guide others to capture why our solutions exist, who we help, and why this brings value. This is the perfect role for someone passionate about UX content and who has experience delivering the right message at the right time.
Responsibilities:
- Elevate the quality of our content across our product offering so that it effectively communicates the value we provide, why users should trust us and use the things we build for them, and make it easy for them to do those things.
- Guide teams to deliver compelling, informative, and engaging user content for all of our patient services. Coach other team members on the value of content strategy and demonstrate how to infuse the brand and product narrative into all patient touchpoints.
- Manage the Content Design team’s hiring, resourcing, and performance, elevating and encouraging makers to do their best work to change the face of consumer healthcare.
- Define and implement how content design operates at GoodRx, including content strategy, content design, and UX writing.
- Increase the impact of the content design team by advocating for content-first design decisions in our user-centric product development process.
- Serve as a senior member of the Product Design leadership team, discussing overall Product Design strategy and helping to lead cross-vertical initiatives, and advocating for your organization's needs.
We’re looking for someone who’s:
- An expert in content design, with demonstrated experience in establishing and executing content strategy for consumer products.
- Passionate about user experience and audience research, content coaching, and helping others develop their storytelling and writing skills.
- Able to thrive in an agile work environment, including embracing iterative product development while maintaining a cohesive and holistic view of the overall narrative experience.
- Deeply collaborative and can bring teams together to solve problems.
- Comfortable with a fast-paced work environment.
About You:
- 5+ years of experience managing content design/UX writers10+ years of content strategy, user experience design, and/or writing experience
- Experience managing a consumer-facing product (web, mobile apps, platforms), shipped successful products in the market
- Experience managing teams in a complex product ecosystem with many sets of stakeholders
- T-shaped design leader well-versed in research, strategy, and design thinking
- A track record of attracting world-class senior talent and scaling high performing teams
- Deep understanding of product-building functions such as data analytics, content, and user research
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills
