Digital Project Manager
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is looking for a Digital Project Manager with best-in-class accounts management and project management skills to join our Creative Services Team based in Dania Beach, FL. Our Creative Managers and Project Managers foster exceptional creative outcomes that deliver on our internal partner’s business objectives. They understand what strong relationships require and the best practices for growing them while delivering an exceptional level of customer service. In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with internal partners (Marketing leads, Operations, Business, and Creative teams) to maximize opportunities, plan, and deliver successful programs for internal clients. You will partner with Creative Leaders to develop and execute creative strategies and solutions for our partners’ business challenges. You will be involved in defining partner engagements for complex cross-category programs, juggling multiple projects from start to finish with a focus in creative strategy for email channel marketing. A passion for pets and culturally defining consumer brands is a must.
What You'll Do:
- Work with marketing and email channel stakeholders to lead cross-functional, multi-disciplinary projects and/or campaigns for the email channel.
- Manage the day-to-day email creative intake, review, rework, and final delivery for each email asset. Working closely with Email Marketers, Creative Directors & Designers, Copywriters and Production Designers.
- Be the expert on how email creative performance will be measured and what success looks like for every engagement. Communicate best practices and learnings to creative teams.
- Ensure all internal and external stakeholders are aligned on email creative strategy.
- Identify, build, maintain and grow relationships with marketing stakeholders. Influence strategy and creative.
- Be extremely comfortable presenting to senior level clients: consistently evoke trust and credibility through strategic thinking and communication style when presenting to leadership.
- Ensure flawless development and execution of email marketing tactics from brief intake through customer experience.
- Manage and define scopes of work and creative approach.
- Utilize Project Management software tools to proactively and effectively plan, resource and track the successful execution of email deliverables from initiation through completion.
- Deep knowledge and experience in defining and executing a wide variety of integrated brand efforts, development cycles, process, and best practices.
- Be an ambassador for Creative Services in presentations and strategy discussions, instill a passion for collaboration, teamwork, and inspiration.
- Proactively and effectively communicate internal and external business recommendations, priorities, risks, and tradeoffs to ensure quality control, brand reputation and best business practices.
- Manage, motivate, and/or mentor teams. Have an impact on the Creative Services output and culture. Improve the team and be a leader.
- Forecast, track and report on client programs and provide key insights to Senior Leadership to inform business operations and strategic planning.
- Support Senior Creative Managers as needed, including but not limited to: Creative Review deck prep, agenda management and communication to stakeholders, intake briefs for production-type projects, etc.
- Roll up your sleeves to pitch in wherever needed.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
- 5+ years creative/brand management experience within an agency or marketing department setting, including managing creative teams/outside creative resources and interfacing directly with senior level client contacts defining program engagements to address core business objectives
- Experience with high-volume, high-velocity project management preferred, agile workflow management a bonus.
- Experience with retail, email marketing or digital marketing a bonus
- Experience and a high aptitude for working with Project Management software. EX. Workfront, Smartsheet, Jira, Airtable.
- Team oriented and be able to mentor and coach others
- Strong strategic and analytical skills
- Must perform tasks as a leader – is a problem solver internally and for the stakeholder
- Must be organized, forward-looking, detail oriented and proactive
- Must be the ultimate team player, adaptable to a fast growing, changing environment; this role will work closely with multiple departments and leaders at all levels
- Must be willing to go above and beyond to deliver on business needs, even if not directly in your skillset
- Position may require travel
