You’re a strong conceptual designer, love to take challenges head-on, and thrive in a collaborative environment. You’re a team player and passionate about building and upholding a company’s brand. You love learning new design tools, can take feedback, and pivot quickly. You’ll be responsible for producing all creative deliverables from concept to completion. You’re a proactive, critical thinker and have an arsenal of design chops in your pocket. You’ll work with the creative team to design social media, email, web assets, and videos. The ability to conceptualize and innovate within the digital platform is a must. This role reports directly to the Art Director. **This position is not fully remote and will require three days a week in our office.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the creative team to ensure our brand standards are maintained in digital, cross-platform, marketing communications.
  • Uphold graphic consistency of brand and ensure the quality of digital materials with minimal supervision.
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage various projects from start to finish within production deadlines.
  • Build constructive business relationships with all marketing stakeholders, including Amazon counterparts.
  • Ability to work independently, in cross-functional teams, and design & implement projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Art Direct photoshoots.
  • Bring innovation to the team, constantly learning in the digital space.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Digital-first thinking with strong conceptual design skills.
  • Excels in digital media creation, graphic design, typography, and photo direction skills.
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks and produce work consistently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work well with various stakeholders to move projects from concept to completion.
  • Excels in collaboration.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment and personal resonance with Whole Foods Market's core values.
  • High-level knowledge of the basic principles of animation.
  • Experience with motion graphics is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree and 2-4 years relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Sketch, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Figma, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Cinema 4D are a major plus.
  • Willingness to learn new design programs and tools.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Strong motion and graphic design skills with the ability to animate photography, vector graphics, and type. Our team is looking to build this skill, so experience in this area would be a huge bonus for your consideration.
